Instructions:
Launch Patient Communications

Utilities Menu → Launch → Automated Campaigns
Create an appointment reminder campaign

Click appointment icon
-
Enter campaign name
-
Set status to active
-
Chose the event trigger
-
Select existing mailing list or click add new
-
Add at least one touch point
-
Select delivery type
-
Select delivery date
-
Select existing template or add new
-
-
Add additional touchpoints (Optional)
-
Please Note: Delivery dates for additional touchpoints must be in chronological order, oldest to newest

Click save and confirm
Create a recurring event campaign
-
Click recurring icon
-
Enter campaign name
-
Set status to active
-
Chose the event trigger
-
Select existing mailing list or click add new
-
Add at least one touch point
-
Select delivery type
-
Select delivery date
-
Select existing template or add new
-
-
Add Additional Touchpoints (Optional)
-
Please Note: Delivery dates for additional touchpoints must be in chronological order, oldest to newest

Click save and confirm
Create Patient Care: Follow Up Campaign
-
Click icon
-
Enter campaign name
-
Set status to active
-
Set the delivery date and time
-
Select delivery type
-
Select existing mailing list or add new
-
Select insurance plan type (optional, set to all to include all patients who match the mailing list criteria)

Set remaining benefits amount (required, set to 0.00 to include all patients who match the mailing list criteria)
-
Select treatment plan codes (optional, set to all to include all patients who match the mailing list criteria)
-
Select treatment plan status (optional, requires selection of treatment plan codes, set to all to include all patients who match the mailing list criteria)

Select existing template or add new
-
Click save and confirm
Create ad-hoc announcement
-
Click ad-hoc icon
-
Enter campaign name
-
Set status to active
-
Set the delivery date and time
-
Select delivery type
-
Select the event trigger
-
Select the event date
-
Select existing template or add new
-
Select mailing list criteria
-
Select office(s) or office group(s)
-
Select providers
-
Please note: for appointment event triggers provider will refer to the appointment provider and for all other event trigger provider will refer to the patient’s preferred provider

Select age range
-
Select any patient types to include
-
Select any patient types to exclude
-
Select any responsible party types to exclude
-
Select type
-
Create new template
-
Click templates icon
-
Click add new template button
-
Select template type
-
Enter name
-
Enter subject (only for email templates)
-
Add template elements from panel on the right using drag and drop functionality
-
Save template
Create new mailing list Please note, mailing list can also be created on the fly while creating campaigns

Click mailing list icon
-
Enter mailing list name
-
Select office(s) or office group(s)
-
Select providers
-
Please note: for appointment event triggers provider will refer to the appointment provider and for all other event trigger provider will refer to the patient’s preferred provider

Select age range
-
Select any patient types to include
-
Select any patient types to exclude
-
Select any responsible party types to exclude
-
Select type
-
Click save and confirm
Get campaign reports Please note, only campaigns that have been sent out have reports. Appointment and Recurring Campaign reports currently show last two weeks of data.

Click dashboard icon

Select the appropriate campaign type tab

Find the campaign you want to run a report for

Please note: If you are looking for a campaign that is no longer active, check the include inactive campaign checkbox

Click the excel icon in the report column
Get report of appointment cancelled via email or text
-
In Denticon, go to Reports (Old) Menu → Group Reports → Appointments Reports
-
Select Appointment Cancellation Report From Patient Communication

Edit report filters and criteria
-
Click print / preview
Get survey results Please note, only campaigns that include a survey link and have been sent out have survey results

Click dashboard icon
-
Select the appropriate campaign type tab

Find the campaign you want to run a report for

Please note: If you are looking for a campaign that is no longer active, check the include inactive campaign checkbox

Click the excel icon in the report column
Edit Campaigns

Click dashboard icon

Select the appropriate campaign type tab

Find the campaign you want to run a report for

Click on the campaign name to open the edit screen
Edit Templates

Click templates icon
-
Select the template you wish to edit
-
Click edit
-
Make necessary changes

Click save
Edit patient lists
-
Click mailing list icon
-
Select the mailing list you wish to edit

Click edit mailing list
-
Make necessary changes
-
Click save
