Introduction:
Patients are able unsubscribe from text messages by texting "Stop" or "Cancel" to an automated campaign message from the office. Sometimes patients will accidentally unsubscribe or later change their mind. When that happens, they'll need to complete the following process to resubscribe.
Process description:
In order to resubscribe the patient will need to text "Start" to the office's texting phone number using one of the methods below.
Step-by-step instructions:

If the patient still has an old text message from the office in their phone inbox:
- Patient should locate previous communication and text "Start" to the previous texting thread.
- This will re-enroll the patient in text communication.

If the patient does not have an old text message saved on their phone:
- The office can go to Setup>Offices>Office Setup>Integration.
- Locate the office's texting phone number.
- Provide this number to the patient and ask that they text "Start" to it.
Next steps:
If the patient texts "Start" to the texting phone number, but is not re-enrolled, please obtain a screenshot of the sent communication, including the number it was sent to. Then submit a support ticket; Denticon Support will verify that the proper number was texted with "Start" and investigate as necessary.
