Introduction:
On the Scheduler Add/Edit Appointment screen, the user has two option tabs for entering procedures – “Quick Add” and “Tx Plans”. If a treatment plan exists for the patient, the “Tx Plans” tab will be the default tab when the appointment details are accessed.
Issue description:
When the user selects the quick add tab of the Add/Edit appointment screen, they will receive an error that "Quick Add" is not allowed on your user account." If this feature is unavailable, it is most likely due to the user not being assigned the necessary security right.

If the user does not have the necessary right to quick add within the appointment screen, they will receive the following message:
Basic troubleshooting steps:
- Go to Setup>Security>Users>Group Memberships. This will allow you to view the security group a particular user is assigned to.
- Go to Setup>Security>Groups, select the group the user is a member of.
- Click the "Edit" button to view the assigned security rights.
- If the security right "Appointments-Add/Edit-Allow Quick Add Tx Plans" is listed under the "Available Rights" section, select the security right, click the right facing arrow to assign the right to the group, then click save.
- Users will need to log out and log back in for any security right changes to take affect.
