A meeting/event may be entered on the Scheduler, just as a patient appointment is entered. The office should choose the “block appointment” option. The blocked time does not create a missed appointment, nor does it generate a routing slip.
To enter a “block appointment”:
- Select a time slot on the Scheduler
- Select to add a new appointment
- Select ͞”Block Appointment”
- Click the Add… button
- Enter meeting/event information in the “First Name” and “Last Name” fields
- Select the duration for the meeting/event
- If desired, enter notes about the meeting/event
- If desired, select a production type in the “Prod. Type” field
- Click the Save button
NOTE: Appointment statuses are disabled for “block appointments.”
