In an effort to increase Denticon performance, the Message Hub feature has been introduced. This feature allows the office to view email and text history in one streamlined location, while giving the user the ability to send out messaging in real time. The office can use custom email and SMS templates to efficiently send out email and text follow ups to patients.
How to Access the Message Hub
Clicking on the blue hyper link for the cell phone number or email address on the Patient Overview screen, will now direct users to the Message Hub. The message hub can also be accessed via Smart Assist.
Using the Message Hub
Users will now be able to see the Patient Engagement History from within this screen, without having to go to Utilities>Launch>Denticon Patient Communication.
If users select the cell phone icon or the patient's cell phone number on the Patient Overview screen, they will be able to select from Denticon Patient Communication SMS templates. Users can also send a text by typing a message or utilizing one of the icons at the bottom of the Message Hub screen. These are the same utilities that were available in the 2-Way Communication portal.
Clicking on the email icon, the patient's email address on the overview screen, or going to Patient>Email Patient, will give the user the option to select Denticon Patient Communication email templates. Users will no longer be able to type a custom email as before.
