NOTE: TSYS / TransFirst must implement necessary activation numbers into the office’s Denticon account before the office is active to process credit card transactions through TSYS / TransFirst. Only after TSYS / TransFirst 's activation will the swipe feature become available for the office.
When the office makes an application to the TSYS / TransFirst credit card processing company, TSYS / TransFirst must process and approve the office’s application for a financial account.
When TSYS / TransFirst approves the office’s application, TSYS / TransFirst notifies the office that application has been approved, and the office’s financial account has been setup within the TSYS / TransFirst company.
NOTE: The office is not active for processing credit card transactions through TSYS / TransFirst when TSYS / TransFirst simply approves the office’s financial account.
The necessary activation numbers must be implemented by TSYS / TransFirst into the office’s Denticon account before the office is active to process credit card transactions through TSYS / TransFirst . Only after the activation is completed will the feature become available for the office.
At that time, TSYS / TransFirst will work with the office to:
- send the swipe card unit(s) and necessary documentation to the office
- implement the necessary activation information into the Denticon program
- train the office regarding how the Denticon-to-TSYS / TransFirst integration works

establish a TSYS / TransFirst password so the office may review the credit card transactions, and generate reports on the TSYS / TransFirst website
When the office is not active to process credit card transactions through TSYS / TransFirst, the patient payment screen will indicate only:
- Credit Card # field
- Expiration Date field
When the office is active to process credit card transactions through TSYS / TransFirst, the patient payment screen will indicate:
- Card Holder name field
- Credit Card # field
- CVV# field
- What is CVV # hyperlink
- Expiration Date field
- A Swipe Card button
