The “Cancelled” message is presented within the Denticon program, on behalf of the credit card processor TSYS / TransFirst.
Denticon does not process financial transactions. Only TSYS / TransFirst processes financial transactions. Therefore, the message is actually coming from TSYS / TransFirst.
Several reasons may cause the user to experience the message:
· Credit Card Number is not valid
· Expiration Date is not valid
· CVV code is not valid
· A duplicate charge is attempted (for security purposes, TSYS / TransFirst restricts “same day, same card, same amount” transactions)
To reduce data entry errors which could result in the error message, the credit card swipe machine should be utilized to auto-capture the card information:
· Cardholder name
· Credit Card Number
· Expiration Date
· CVV code is not valid
Using the swipe machine, the only manual entry necessary related to the card is the CVV code.
Since the message is from TSYS / TransFirst, any question about the credit card transaction should be directed to TSYS / TransFirst.
