We use Denticon’s recurring auto recurring payments features via TSYS / TransFirst. Our patient does not wish to use a credit card; instead, wishes to use an ATM card or online check payment. How can we use a debit card for recurring payments?

Overall, in an indirect way, the payment integration for ACH transaction can be handled in Denticon.

Most financial institutions (aka: banks) provide debit card (ATM) services to their clients. Debit cards and checks are handled and processed by the financial institution in the same manner.

TSYS / TransFirst advises to enter "debit card" transactions as "credit card" transactions. By doing so, there is no need for a PIN number for a "debit card" transaction. The payment will process quickly into your bank account.

Therefore, recurring ACH payments via TSYS / TransFirst are possible if a debit card is utilized.

If the patient/responsible party does not have or wish to use a debit card, the auto-ACH transaction can be arranged within your TSYS / TransFirst account. When the payment is successfully processed into your bank account, the financial ACH payment transaction must be manually entered into Denticon.
