Denticon offices currently utilizing TSYS (formerly Transfirst) or Open Edge credit card processing are able to offer their patients a quicker way to make online payments.
The Denticon Payment Portal allows patients to pay their balance online without having to create and remember yet another username and password.
Once payments are completed online, the transaction will automatically post to the Denticon ledger—improving the patient experience and shortening your cash conversion cycle.
The Payment Portal comes included with a standard Denticon subscription and makes collecting and entering payments that much easier.
Administrators can set the Payment Portal checkbox to be selected by default. Under Setup > Offices > Office Setup > [Statement Tab], check the box labeled “Print payment portal message on statements” and click “Save.”

Administrators can specify which credit cards should appear to patients.
- Setup > Payment/Adjustment Type > Edit a Credit Card
- Check/uncheck the box for “Show in Payment Portal”
- Note: Credit cards (except insurance) will be checked by default
- Click “Save”
With the Payment ID, patients will go to pay.yourdentistoffice.com and simply enter their Payment ID, zip code, and last name.
The matching record will display the current balance (as of today), amount due (estimated patient portion as of today), and the credit/debit card options to complete the payment.
