Once you've created your external referrals, you'll be able to view those from Utilities>Referral Management> External Referral - Outgoing
Highlights
From this screen, you can review all of the external referrals from the office you are logged into.
A. You can select the patient name to pull up that patient's Patient Overview.
B. You can select the information icon next to the procedure codes for more information.
C. You can select information icon next to the status to review status notes and changes.
D. You can edit the status of the referral and make notes for that status using the edit icon next to the status.
E. If any attachments are included, you can select them to preview that document or x-ray.
F. You can select the delete icon to delete a referral.
Recommended Workflow: From the Treatment Plan, place a checkmark next to the treatment you wish to refer out and select the Refer To button. Select the External Referral Tab, select a provider or choose Skip Provider. Send or Save the referral.
When the work is completed if the referred to provider does not participate with the e-referral, browse to Utilities>Referral Management> and select External Referrals - Outgoing. In section D, edit the referral status to completed.
