Introduction:
- Denticon Practice Analytics (DPA) relies on the Setup > Providers > Provider Goals to display its information.
- In some cases, a provider may not appear on the Provider Goals screen for Auto-Population.
- This guide is for users having issues with this segment where providers who previously were available there.
Signs of the issue & description:
- DPA is missing a provider who was previously there.
- Provider Goals does not list a provider who were previously there.
- A provider has not be scheduled with an appointment in the office during the month missing on the Provider Goals Screen.
Troubleshooting steps listed by menu to check:
- Setup > Providers > Provider Setup
- Search for the provider missing from the Provider Goals and select their them on the left, then press Edit.
- Check the Works At tab and make sure the provider is listed as working in the office you wish add goals for. If they are not working there, select the office the left, press the single right arrow, and then Save.
- Check the Operatory tab and be sure that at least one operatory is assigned to the provider. If none are assigned, select the operatory the left, press the single right arrow, and then Save.
- Check the Schedules tab and ensure that the provider has an Effective Date for the desired office. If your provider does not, click Add New Schedule. Next, setup the details of the provider's schedule then press Add again. Press Save to Confirm.
- If this is a provider who is only office occasionally, you can also use the the Holidays tab to add a single "in-office" day when they will visit.
- Check the Watermarks tab. Add watermarks as desired.
- Scheduler (icon or menu button)
- Select the Scheduler icon and find a day and time the provider will be open.
- Left click to add an appointment for the provider.
- You can either add a "test" patient here as a place holder or if there is a patient willing to schedule with the provider or change the provider they are seeing, you can schedule this patient for a real appointment.

- Check if the provider goals now populate. If they do not, contact the Denticon Support Team for further assistance.
- The DPA (Utilities > Launch > Denticon Practice Analytics) dashboard updates each night at 11:59 p.m. PST, pulling all pertinent data from the day in order to provide refreshed metrics the next morning.
Best Practices:
Before planning to edit provider goals, be sure that provider's Setup > Providers > Provider Setup menu is fully setup with their appointment availability to ensure best results.
