Quick Answer
To finish setting up your DentalOS account, open the email invitation or the setup link your administrator gave you, create a password that meets the on-screen requirements, and sign in with your username and new password. Setup must be completed within 24 hours.

If You Received an Email Invitation
- Open the invitation email from DentalOS.
- Select the link in the email.
- Create a password that meets the requirements shown on the page, then select 'Create new password'.
- Sign in to DentalOS with your username and new password.
If Your Administrator Gave You a Setup Link and Code
If you do not have an email address on file, your administrator shares a setup link and a one-time setup code with you directly.
- Open the setup link your administrator gave you.
- Enter your username and the setup code.
- On the next page, enter and confirm a new password that meets the requirements shown, then select 'Create new password'.
- Sign in to DentalOS with your username and new password.
| Note: The setup code is valid for 24 hours or until you use it for the first time. |
If Your Organization Uses MFA
When you sign in for the first time, you are asked to enroll in the MFA method your organization uses. For an authenticator app, you scan a QR code. For SMS or email, make sure your administrator has your phone number or email address on your user record.
If Your Invitation or Setup Code Has Expired
Ask your administrator to resend the invitation. They do this from the Users page. If you do not have an email address on file, they give you a new setup link and code. See "Resend an invitation or manual setup link".
