Quick Answer
When self-service password reset is turned off in DentalOS, an administrator can generate a reset password link and code from the user's Security settings tab, then share those credentials with the user to set a new password.

Before You Begin
- You must have administrator access to complete these steps.
- This process applies only when self-service password reset is turned off for your organization.

Steps
- Select 'Users' and open the user's profile.
- Open the 'Security settings' tab.
- Generate the reset password link and code.
- Give the link and code to the user.
- The user opens the link, enters the code and their username, and sets a new password.
Expected Result
The user will be able to open the reset password link, enter the reset code along with their username, and successfully set a new password. The reset code is valid for 24 hours or until first use.
