Quick Answer
The AI Workforce tile on the DentalOS dashboard displays your organization's active and available AI agents, including performance results and Total ROI. Users with the Purchasing Authority permission can hire a new agent directly from the tile by selecting 'Hire agent' and completing the purchasing flow.
Applies To
Product: DentalOS
Plan: All plans
Role: Users with Purchasing Authority permission
What the AI Workforce Tile Shows
The AI Workforce tile on the DentalOS dashboard has two possible parts.
- Active agents: Shows the results of agents that are live, including a combined Total ROI, and results for agents in a trial. A new agent displays "Collecting data" until there is enough activity to report results. Paused agents are shown as paused.
- Available agents (blue section): Lists the AI agents your organization can adopt. Each one shows a 'Hire agent' button.
If your organization has every agent active, the blue section is removed and only your active agents are shown.
Before You Begin
- You must have the Purchasing Authority permission to see the AI Workforce tile and hire agents.
Steps
- On the DentalOS dashboard, locate the 'AI Workforce' tile.
- In the blue Available agents section, find the agent you want and select 'Hire agent' beneath it.
- Follow the purchasing flow to complete hiring the agent.
-> You will see the Active agents section and, if applicable, the blue Available agents section listing agents your organization can adopt.
-> The purchasing flow for that agent opens.
-> Once complete, the agent will appear in your Active agents section.
Expected Result
When complete, the newly hired agent will appear in the Active agents section of the AI Workforce tile. It will display "Collecting data" until there is enough activity to report results. If the agent does not appear after completing the purchasing flow, see Troubleshooting below.
