To inactivate a provider, the provider must be removed from patient records:
- preferred provider
- treatment plans
- future appointments
To remove a provider from patient records:
- click the word “Utilities”
- select the “Copy/Move/Change PGID Setup Data” option
- select "Change Future Appointments, Patients, or Tx by Provider"
- select the desired provider
- click the “Change” hyperlink
- choose the desired target provider
- checkmark the desired action(s)
- click the Apply Change button
- confirm and approve the change(s)
NOTE: If a provider is assigned to more than one office location, the provider must be removed from all patient records in all locations before the provider’s entry may be marked as “inactive.”
To inactivate a provider:
- click the word Setup / Providers / Provider Setup
- select the desired provider
- click the Edit button
- change the “Active” field to “No”
- click the Save button
