When a patient’s restorative chart is indicated to change the dentition via the “Change Dentition” option, Denticon is commanded to load exactly that: a brand new dentition. By doing so, the existing chart drawings will be removed from visibility.
NOTE: Denticon is programmed to present the last applicable drawing for the tooth/area.
Example:
- Patient has existing recorded markings on teeth 4, 18, 23, 25
- Patient’s chart should reflect missing teeth 1, 16, 32
- The “Change Dentition” option was selected to be “New Mixed Dentition (7-10 Years)”
- The restorative chart will present only the teeth which are programmed for the “New Mixed Dentition (7-10 Years)” dentition, removing the drawings on teeth 4, 18, 23, 25
To correct:
- Single left-click the text item “New Mixed Dentition (7-10 Years)”
- Click the Delete button to remove the text entry which will remove the incorrect blank dentition
