Process description:
You will need to adjust the printer's scale for best results. Our team recommends "Actual Size" for best results.
Prerequisites:
- Your user account has Group Membership for a Group with the Permissions for Setup - Insurance Plans Screen Full Control.
Gathering materials/resources:
- Printer setup has been completed within your printer's manufacturer instructions
Step-by-step instructions:
- Access the Setup > Insurance > Insurance Plans dropdown menu.
- Select your plan using the Search feature on the left.
- Make sure the Plan tab is selected and then press the Edit button.
- Change the field for Forms to Print to the HCFA 02/12 PrePrinted option and then press Save to confirm.
- From now on, claims on this carrier will come in the format expecting to be printed as Medical Claims on a PrePrinted HCFA form.
