Introduction:
At this time there is not a specific place in Denticon to input a patient's preferred pharmacy. However, there are several workaround options that will be presented in the guide below.
Process description:
You can edit your medical questionnaires to include a space to provide that information, add in a patient note, or create a flash alert that pops up when visiting a patient's overview screen.
Prerequisites:
Depending on the option you choose you will need one of the following security rights:
- Setup-Medical Questionnaire Full Control
- Patient-Add New Flash Alert
- Patient-Patient Overview Screen Full Control
Step-by-step instructions:
To add a question on your medical questionnaire:
- Go to Setup>Medical Setup>Medical Questionnaire.
- Click the "Add Question" button.
- Enter in a question asking for the patient to enter the name and address of their preferred pharmacy.
- Click the option to include a text box, which will allow the patient to type in their preferred pharmacy details.
To add in a note on the Patient Overview Screen:
- Search for the patient.
- Select the patient to visit the Patient Overview screen.
- Click the "Edit".
- Enter in the patient's preferred pharmacy in the "Patient Note" section.
- Press Save.
To enter in a Flash Alert:
- Go to Patient>Flash Alerts.
- Click the "Add New Flash Alerts" button.
- Create a flash alert with the patient's preferred pharmacy information.
- Press save.
- Flash alerts will pop up once per patient session. Once closed they will not pop up again until a new patient session for the selected patient is started. They can be viewed at any time by going to Patient>Flash Alerts.
Additional information:
In the Medical History section, we sometimes need to write in information and alerts that are not listed. How can we allow for space for this on the questionnaire?
