Introduction:
An office may decide that they would like their providers to enter their progress notes in different colors. This can be used to easily distinguish progress notes entered by different providers or provider types. Alternatively, providers can enter in notes regarding different types of treatment in different colors. For example, notes about prophies can be entered in one color while notes regarding restorative treatments could be entered in another.
Process description:
The office can set up Notes Macros for use. These macros can be setup so that the font shows in whatever color the office selects. Once the macro is applied to the progress note the text will appear in the color that the office has chosen. Any additional text that the user adds into the macro will also default to the font color in the macro setup.
