Confirm Patient is Set Up Correctly
- From the Patient Overview Screen, Click Edit next to the Patient ID
- Place a check-mark next to 'Add Patient to Quick Fill List'
- Select Preferred Provider, Preferred Hygienist, or Any Hygienist. You can only set one of these options. This means that if you are trying to schedule for the patient's preferred provider, but the patient is set for preferred hygienist they will not appear in the Quick Fill search results.
- Review the patient 'Preferred Provider' and 'Preferred Hygienist' selected in their record. Does this match the provider you are trying to schedule the appointment under?
- Check that the patient has a cell phone number entered in the system. Quick Fill will not consider patients with no cell phone number as that is needed to send out the texts.
- Check that the patient does not have the "No Auto SMS" field marked. If this is selected Quick Fill will be unable to send patients the automated messages that there is an appointment available or that the appointment is no longer available.

Check Provider Setup
If the patient's preferred provider or hygienist is not assigned to the operatory you are trying to schedule in, the patient will not show up in the search results. If the patient is set to "Any Hygienist" and there are no hygienists assigned to the operatory, the patient will not be included in the search results.
- Go to Setup>Provider>Provider Setup>Ops
- Select the provider
- Verify that they are assigned to the operatory you are trying to schedule in.
- If the operatory is not assigned, click the operatory and then click the right facing arrow to assign the provider to the operatory.
