We are a multi-location practice. Why can’t we move appointments from one location to another?

Denticon has many multi-location practices which consider each location as an entirely separate entity; meaning that each location is entirely independent of each other.
Also, each location -- regardless if the location is considered an entirely independent entity from other locations or not -- may have different setups related to:

• Appointment duration intervals (10 minutes vs 15 minutes)
• Different providers within each location
• Further, a user may have security rights to enter an appointment within one location, yet not have the security rights to enter an appointment within a different location.

Denticon allows to move appointments for a provider between office locations via:

• Methods:
  • Drag/drop
  • Cut/paste
  • Copy/paste
• To begin, show the provider’s schedule in all the provider’s assigned office locations:
  1. Click the word “Providers”
  2. Select the desired provider

To drag/drop the appointment:

• 1. Left-click the desired appointment
  2. Hold the left mouse button
  3. Drag the appointment to the desired location
  4. Release the left mouse button
  5. Confirm the appointment move

To cut/paste or copy/paste:

1. Right-click the desired appointment
2. Select the desired function
3. Right-click the desired different appointment location, operatory, and time
4. Left-click the “Paste” option
