Appointment campaigns in Denticon Patient Communication will not send — and mailing list counts return zero — when the Effective Date has not been set in Office Setup. Setting the Effective Date resolves both issues immediately.
Applies To
Product: Denticon
Plan: All plans
Role: Admin, Office Manager
Before You Begin
- You must have access to Setup > Offices > Office Setup in Denticon.
- Denticon Patient Communication must be enabled for your office.
Steps
- Navigate to Setup > Offices > Office Setup.
- Select the applicable office from the list on the left.
- Click the 'Advanced' tab.
- Scroll to the Automated Campaigns section and locate the 'Effective Date' field under Denticon Patient Communication.
- Enter the appropriate Effective Date and save your changes.
Expected Result
Once the Effective Date is set, clicking 'Get Count' on your mailing list will return a patient count instead of the "There is no patient in the mailing list" error. Appointment campaigns will begin sending as scheduled. If you still see the error below after setting the date, see Troubleshooting.
Troubleshooting
Problem: "There is no patient in the mailing list" error still appears after setting the Effective Date
Cause: The Effective Date may not have been saved correctly, or the date entered is in the future.
Fix: Return to Setup > Offices > Office Setup > Advanced > Denticon Patient Communication, confirm the Effective Date is saved and is not a future date, then click 'Get Count' again.
