Access the family member. Click the word Primary.
If the family member is on a plan that is already attached to another family member, ensure the “Search In” field reads “Account Plans.” Click the Search button. A listing of matches for the search parameters is returned in a pop-up box. Select the desired plan. The Carrier, Employer, and Plan Information fields will be auto-populated according to the saved plan information (Setup–Insurance–Insurance Plans).
If the family member has a plan that is not already attached to another family member, ensure the “Search In” field reads “All Insurance Plans.” Based on the parameter stated in the “Search For” field, type the first word of the desired search text in the “Search Text” field (a minimum of two characters must be entered, without spaces). Click the Search button. A listing of matches for the search parameters is returned in a pop-up box. Select the desired plan. The Carrier, Employer, and Plan Information fields will be auto-populated according to the saved plan information (Setup–Insurance–Insurance Plans).
Confirm the Subscriber Information, and indicate the “Patient Relationship to Subscriber.” Click the Save button.
