Access the patient record. In the Dental Insurance section, click the word Primary.
Based on the parameter stated in the “Search For” field, type the first word of the desired search text in the “Search Text” field (a minimum of two characters must be entered, without spaces). The “Search In” field should read “All Insurance Plans.” Click the Search button. A listing of matches for the search parameters is returned in a pop-up box. Select the desired plan. The Carrier, Employer, and Plan Information fields will be auto-populated according to the saved plan information (Setup–Insurance–Insurance Plans).
Confirm the Subscriber Information, and indicate the “Patient Relationship to Subscriber.” Click the Save button.
