It seems that your user setup and your co-worker’s user setup are different regarding the default for a HIPAA compliant screen.
Through the word “Setup,” and “Security”’ and “Users” options from the drop-down list:
· Your setup is indicating "Yes" in the '"HIPAA compliant scheduler view?" field
· Your co-worker’s setup is indicating "No" in the '"HIPAA compliant scheduler view?" field
When “Yes” is indicated, the Denticon program knows that the user’s Scheduler Window should default to the HIPAA compliant view. That is:
· There is a checkmark in the box at the top of the screen for "HIPAA"
· The patient names does not show on the appointment above the horizontal line
When “No” is indicated, the Denticon program knows that the user’s Scheduler Window should not default to the HIPAA compliant view. That is:
· There is not a checkmark in the box at the top of the screen for "HIPAA"
· The patient names do show on the appointment above the horizontal line
The name below the horizontal line is the provider to which the appointment is assigned.
No matter the default view regarding “Yes” or “No” for the HIPAA view, the user can always remove and replace the checkmark in the box at the top of the screen so that the screen will toggle between a HIPAA-compliant and a non-HIPAA-compliant view.
