Sometimes we look at our schedule and the appointment times appear to be available. Other times, we look at our schedule and the appointment times do not appear to be available. Why is this happening?

To understand which View is utilized on the Window, the user should look at the information found in the dark blue bar beneath the date field:

• Daily View / All providers and all operatories à shows the hours that the office is operational (Setup/ Offices/ Office Setup)
• Daily View by user-view / User-view: XXXXX à shows the hours that the providers are available for patient care (Setup/Providers/ Provider Setup -(XXXXX is defined by the User-View that is selected)

Since the “Daily View / All providers and all operatories” indicates only the hours for which the office is open, it does not consider that the provider may work different hours for patient care.

Since the “Daily View by user-view / User-view: XXXXX” uses the provider information which is recorded in setup / providers / per-office settings, the office staff is more assured to understand when a provider is available for patient care.

The “Daily View by user-view / User-view: XXXXX” will also show the user available watermarks, per the information recorded in setup / providers / per-office settings, further guiding the user toward the provider’s patient care preferences.
