For security reasons, passwords are hidden from view. Forgotten passwords must be reset to something new.
Only account Administrator(s) within the dental organization have the ability to reset passwords.
- Click the word “Setup”
- Select the “Security” and “Users” options from the dropdown list
- A listing of all users appears on the left
- Highlight the user’s name
- Click the Edit button
- Input a new password
The password recovery tool will recognize multi PGID usernames. The reset function will be based on the
first PGID’s username and email address.
So that the user may self-reset the password, ensure they enter both a “Security Question” as well as a “Security Answer”
- Click the word "Setup"
- Select the "Security" and "Change my password" options from the dropdown list
- Input current password, new password, security question and security answer
- Save
NOTE: For HIPAA compliancy as well as respecting the dental organization’s ability to control the organization’s staff, the Denticon Support team is not able to provide assistance for resetting passwords.
