Provider Double‑Booking Settings
When a provider is added in Setup, there is an option that controls whether the provider can be double‑booked.
If Default Provider Time is set to Yes in the provider’s setup, the provider’s appointments will automatically display a slash ( / ) within the appointment time intervals. This slash indicates that the provider is restricted from being double‑booked.
If a provider is configured to work in multiple operatories, it is recommended to set Default Provider Time to No. This allows appointments to be scheduled concurrently and enables double‑booking when appropriate.
