Description:
When setting up a provider in Denticon there are several options for "Provider Type". A provider's type determines what actions can be entered into the system under the provider.
Key features:
The various "Provider Type" options are:
- Dentist
- Procedures and appointments may be associated to the provider
- Claims can be generated for the provider
- Hygienist
- Procedures and appointments may be associated to the provider
- Claims cannot be generated for the provider, but will be generated for the patient's preferred dentist provider
- Assistant
- Procedures and appointments may not be associated to the provider
- Claims cannot be generated for the provider
- Assistant providers will not list for selection in the following screens:
- Transaction Entry - Edit Treatment
- Treatment Plan - Edit Treatment Plan
- Appointment - Edit Procedure
- N/A
- Procedures and appointments may not be associated to the provider
- Claims cannot be generated for the provider
