How to Enroll in Medical Claims (Stedi Setup)

Summary:  You can enroll in Medical Claims in Denticon yourself, in a few minutes, with the Stedi Setup Wizard. You do not need to contact Support to have a feature turned on.

Before you begin

• You need access to Account Setup in Denticon.
• The wizard explains each step on screen, so you don't need anything else in advance.

Steps

1. In Denticon, go to Account Setup > Advanced > Stedi Medical Claims.
2. Follow the Stedi Setup Wizard from start to finish. Each step is explained in the wizard.
3. When you receive your Stedi API Key, return to Account Setup > Advanced > Stedi Setup.
4. Enter the API Key and save it.

Once the key is saved, your Medical Claims setup is complete and you can start using Medical e-Claims in Denticon.

After you enroll

Before you submit your first medical claim, your office also needs medical codes and carriers set up. Under Setup > Procedure Codes, configure ICD, Modifier, Place of Service and Type of Service codes, plus any CDT-to-CPT, CDT-to-ICD and CPT-to-ICD cross-coding your office uses. Where to find medical claims

In the enhanced Batch Claims Processing screen, medical e-claims are under Batch Claims> Medical Claims.
