The Apteryx location is used for applying location-specific settings such as AI tools and enhancements to users that have the respective location selected. As a result, when the wrong location is selected, it may result in unwanted or unexpected behavior. For Denticon customers, it would be expected that Apteryx would configured to automatically select the correct location. However, if this is not working, feel free to reference Managing Apteryx Site Locations – Planet DDS. For other practice management software, it is necessary to manually select a the respective Apteryx location, and this article reviews the process for manually selecting an Apteryx location.
- Sign in to Apteryx
- At the top-right, a drop-down box will show the currently selected location
- Click on the drop down box and select the respective location
- Once a new location has been selected, the newly selected location will be remembered, unless browser cookies are deleted or reset or an Apteryx location is automatically selected.
