Overview
If an account is being handled by Transworld for collections and needs to be removed, follow the steps below. Note that cancellation may take effect the next day after a background job completes the action at the Transworld site.
Steps to Cancel the Account

Navigate to the Utilities menu.

Select Transworld Account List.

Locate the patient account in question.

Click the checkbox next to the account.

Click Cancel Account to remove the account from Transworld.
- The account removal process may not be immediate, this may occur the next day as it depends on background processing at the Transworld site.
Unblocking Charges
Once the account has been removed, you will need to deactivate the Flash Alert that was set when the account was sent to collections. Follow these steps:

Access the Patient Overview for the relevant patient.

From the Patient menu, select Flash Alerts.

Click on the Sent to Transworld flash alert.

Set Block Charges to No.

Set Active to No.

Click Save.

If the Collection Agency field remains disabled on the Responsible Party page after canceling the account, please contact support for further assistance.
