Before You Begin
- You must have access to the Patient Overview screen in Denticon.
- Note that the Responsible Party ID number is auto-generated by Denticon when an account is created and cannot be changed manually. You can, however, update the Responsible Party Name, Address, and Contact information.
Steps
- Navigate to the patient's 'Patient Overview' screen.
→ You will see the Patient Information panel on the left and the Responsible Party panel on the upper right.
- In the 'Responsible Party' section, click 'Edit' next to the Responsible Party ID.
→ The 'Edit Responsible Party Information' dialog box will open, displaying the Responsible Party/Billing Information fields.
- Edit the desired fields, such as Responsible Party Name, Address, and Contact information.
→ Updated values will appear in the respective fields within the dialog.
- Click 'Save' to apply your changes.
→ The dialog will close and the updated Responsible Party information will be reflected on the Patient Overview screen.
Expected Result
When complete, the Responsible Party section on the Patient Overview screen will display the updated Name, Address, and Contact information. When Statements are generated, they will show the updated Responsible Party information. If the fields still show the old information, verify that you clicked 'Save' before closing the dialog.
