Requests for Pre-approvals are sent 1 day prior to the patient appointment.
The response status is displayed in the Patient Overview, Appointment Details screen, and on the Scheduler.
Patient was Pre-Approved
Upon Selection , the user is directed to Quick Screen home page within CareCredit to capture the Approval/Decline and continue with the full application.
An existing account exist for the patient
Upon Selection , the user is directed to the Transaction Entry screen in Denticon.
Patient was not Pre-Approved and a full application is needed .
Upon Selection, the user is directed to the application home page to complete the full CareCredit application.
*Patient must be 21 years or older to apply
1. From the Appointment on the Scheduler
Right Click Appointment - Select CareCredit
2. From the Appointment Details Screen
3. From the Patient Overview Screen
Note: If the CareCredit statuses are unavailable, please refer to the Patient Overview screen or Appointment Details Screen and Click the 'Apply for CareCredit' button to launch the Batch Quick Screen to process your Pre-Approval or Full Application.
This usually means the appointment was made on the same day or less than 24 hours.
