Quick Answer
In Denticon, when a Scheduler View is configured to include multiple locations, you can schedule or move appointments across different office locations using drag and drop or cut and paste directly on the Scheduler Window.
Applies To
Product: Denticon
Plan: All plans
Role: Front Desk | Office Manager | Doctor | All users
Before You Begin
- A Scheduler View that includes multiple office locations must already be set up. To configure one, navigate to 'Setup' > 'Scheduler' > 'Scheduler Views'.
Steps
Step 1 — Confirm the multi-location Scheduler View is configured
- Navigate to 'Setup' > 'Scheduler' > 'Scheduler Views'.
→ The 'Scheduler Views Setup' screen opens, showing Offices, Views, and View Details panels.
- In the 'Views' panel, select the view you want to use. Confirm that the 'View Details' panel on the right lists operatories from more than one office location under 'Office Name'.
Step 2 — Open the Scheduler and select the desired User View
- Click 'Scheduler' in the top navigation bar to open the Scheduler Window.
- Click 'User Views' in the Scheduler toolbar and select the multi-location view you want to use (for example, 'Dr.Yeah').
→ The scheduler displays columns for all offices and operatories included in that view, spanning multiple locations.
Step 3 — (Optional) Filter by a specific provider across all locations
- Click 'Providers' in the Scheduler toolbar to open the provider dropdown.
- Select the desired provider from the list.
→ The scheduler updates to display only the operatories across all offices to which that provider is assigned.
Step 4 — Schedule or move an appointment to a different location
Use either method below to place or move an appointment to a different office's schedule:
- Drag and drop: Click and hold the appointment block, then drag it to the desired time slot in the target office's operatory column and release.
- Cut and paste: Right-click the appointment block, select 'Cut', then right-click the desired time slot in the target office's operatory column and select 'Paste'.
Expected Result
When complete, the appointment will appear in the operatory column of the new office location at the selected time. The original slot will be empty. If the appointment still shows in its original location, confirm that the Scheduler View includes operatories from both offices and that the correct User View is selected.
