Introduction:
There are a few different places in Denticon where the patient's relationship to responsible party as well as their relationship to the insurance subscriber are entered. If these relationships are not correctly entered it can cause issues with the claim submission.
Issue description:
Viewing the claim in the patient ledger shows the claim as being created under the patient. When going to Setup>Utilites>E-Claims management and reviewing the claim, the patient on the claim shows as either the subscriber or responsible party.
Basic troubleshooting steps:
- Go to the patient overview screen.
- Click the edit button.
- Is the patient relationship to responsible party correct?
- Go back to the patient overview screen.
- In the insurance section, click the word "Primary" to view the patient's insurance setup. Is the patient relationship to subscriber correct?

When adding in a patient verify that these fields have the correct information entered.
