In order to use Denticon Pay, the office will need to enter information into three separate areas of Denticon, the Account Setup, Office Setup, and User Setup.
Account Setup
Step 1: Log into Denticon
Step 2: From the main screen, navigate to Account Info tab
Step 3: Under the advanced tab you will see a new option labeled “Use Denticon Pay“
Step 4: Edit Account setup and check the checkbox to enable Denticon Pay
Step 5: Once the checkbox is checked you will see two new input fields in which you can input your KeyBank Credentials (these are provided to you by KeyBank)
a) API Username
b) API Password
Office setup
Step 1: Go to the office setup tab
Step 2: Under the integrations tab there is an option labeled “TRANSFIRST/OPENEDGE/DENTICONPAY“ this is where you can select your chose payment integration.
Step 3: Select Denticon Pay
Step 4: This will reveal two new options:
a) Merchant Id
b) Denticon Pay device list
Step 5: Input your Denticon Pay Merchant Id (Provided to you by KeyBank)
Step 6: Click save
Step 7: Now that your Merchant Id is saved, under the integration tab select “Click here to edit device list“
Step 8: A device list will pop up and display the devices that are connected to your Merchant Id.
a) Click “Sync“ to fetch all new devices
b) These devices shown are set up by KeyBank and any new additional devices added to your merchant Id will have to be first set up by KeyBank.
c) This list will show all devices synced with your Merchant Id, this does not mean they are turned on or able to be connected to*
d) Once a device is connected to the internet and displays the “Connected“ text you can go ahead and click the “Test“ Icon to check if the device can be connected to and used.

If the test says “failed to connect“ then please check if the device is connected to the internet and powered on

e) Enter the Device Name (this must be a unique name specific to the device)
f) Check enabled checkbox to allow users to select these devices in the transaction screens when making payments

The devices will automatically be unchecked if the device test fails to connect or if you click save and the device is unreachable.

User Setup
Step 1: Go to the User setup tab
Step 2: Select desired user and navigate to User Settings
Step 3: Click Edit User
Step 4: Click the dropdown “Preferred Denticon Pay Device“ and select the users preferred default device (this will select the chosen device by default when displaying them in the transaction screens)
Once all these steps are complete you are now ready to submit your first payment using Denticon Pay!
