A pre-authorization claim can be regenerated for electronic processing:
· Click the word “Transactions” and choose the “Pre-Authorization List” option from the drop-down box
· Click the date of the desired claim
· Ensure the “Pre-Auth Status” indicates “Created, Not Sent”
· Click the Save button to place the regenerated pre-authorization claim in the Utilities/Batch Claims Processing screen
Please Note:
If a pre-authorization claim status is changed from “Closed” or “Sent” and changed to “Created, Not Sent”, an alert now appears asking if the User needs to re-estimate.
“Do you want to re-estimate total fee charged for each procedure from the current applicable fee schedule of the treating location of the procedure?”
