I accidently put in a patient's secondary insurance as the primary plan, and need to change it. I need to add the correct primary insurance to the patient’s record. How do I change a patient’s primary insurance to secondary?

To make the patient’s current Primary plan as the Secondary plan:

·   click the word Secondary

·   click the Search button to see the already attached insurance plan

·   double-click the plan to populate the plan to the patient’s Secondary Insurance Plan screen

·   ensure the Subscriber information is entirely correct

·   click the Save button

To add a new insurance plan as the patient’s Primary plan:

·   click the word Primary

·   search through the entire insurance database for the different plan, ensuring that the "Search In" field indicates "All Insurance Plans" so you may find a different insurance plan in the database

·   double-click the desired plan to populate the plan to the patient’s Primary Insurance Plan screen

·   ensure the Subscriber information is entirely correct

·   click the Save button
