Treatment Plans can be electronically signed.
Ensure the electronic signature pad is attached to the computer.
Generate the Treatment Plan report to the computer screen.
At the bottom of the Adobe print window, a signature capture field is indicated.
Once the patient signs the electronic signature pad, the signature is visible on the Adobe report window.
Click the Save PDF File button to fully capture the signature
The screen will refresh to show the patient’s captured signature on the report screen.
If the patient wishes to have a printed copy of the signed Treatment Plan, generate a printed copy.
The action of the Save PDF File button will create an entry in the Patient Notes screen, which provides a record that the Treatment Plan was presented to and approved by the patient.
