Denticon offers a recall report that will provide users with information regarding patients that are due for a recallable procedure(s) but are currently not scheduled.
Process description:
The Recall Due Not Scheduled report will consider the recall intervals entered in for procedure codes that are setup as recallable codes, then checks for patients that have a recall due date entered for a recallable code included on the report. If the patient has a recall due date that falls within the date range of the report but there is no future appointment with the procedure code embedded, the patient will appear on the report.

To run the Recall Due Not Scheduled Report:
- Reports>Recall Reports>Recall Due
- The date range defaults to the current date, but can be adjusted for a single date or a date range. If you want to see who's recall is due in the next month, set the date range out for a month from the current date. If you want to see who's recall's are overdue, set for a period in the past.
- Indicate the desired patient age and provider, and whether certain Patient Types should be excluded from the report.
- If a particular procedure code or codes are desired, click the "Select" button beside the field to select the desired procedure code(s).
- You may choose to run the report for all scheduled and not scheduled patients at once if you like, otherwise to determine who needs to be scheduled for their recall appointment, select "not scheduled".
- Click the Print/Preview button to view the report in a separate window.
Tips and best practices:
This report depends on the recallable procedure code being embedded into the appointment block when those appointments are scheduled. If the procedure code is not embedded, the patient will show as due for a recall when they really are not.

If a patient has recall due date set under D1120 because you saw them as a child but have switched them to a D1110 due to age, and the recall due date for the D1120 was not cleared from their Recall Due Dates list, they may show up as due for the D1120 when they have a D1110 scheduled. This can also be true of patients who are switched from a D1110 prophy to a D4910 perio maintenance or a D0150 initial exam to a D0120 periodic exam. Old recall due dates should be cleared when a patient is scheduled for a replacement recall procedure. If you find patients like this, you can clear the recall due date for the recall procedures they no longer are scheduled for by going to the Recalls section of the Patient Overview Screen
We recommend you choose only your "anchor" codes, such as D1110 or D1120 for a more focused report. If no Recall Procedure Codes are indicated, all recallable Procedure Codes will be returned in the
report.
