A good way to identify and clear out missed and cancelled appointments is through the call list from the Appointment window:
- From the “Scheduler” menu select the “Call List” option from the drop-down list.
- Enter the date range for the search
- Indicate other desired criterion
- Click the Search button
- A listing of the matching appointments will appear at the bottom of the screen if an appointment has been rescheduled or a new appointment has been made for the patient, there will not be an entry for that patient’s previously missed or cancelled appointment on this screen.
- To view the appointments that have been removed from the call list, place a checkmark at the box “Show Off Call List.”
- Click the Search button
- A listing of the matching appointments will appear at the bottom of the screen
- If it is known that the patient should no longer remain on the call list, place a checkmark in the box at “Off List” for that patient. The user may select multiple patients for removal from the list.
- Click the Off Call List button
- The indicated patient(s) will be removed from the call list.
Note: Removal of the patient’s missed or cancelled appointment from the Call List does not
remove the information from the Missed Appointment List report nor the Appointment
Cancellation List report, which are obtained through Reports/Appointments Reports. These list
reports are a listing to understand the reliability of a patient to attend an appointment.
