Our patient has changed insurance plans. We’ve attached the new insurance plan to the patient’s record. Is there a way to know all the insurance plans that have been attached to an account?

To see the previous plan(s) that have been attached to the patient, click the word Primary.

Ensure the "Search For" field in the upper left corner of the insurance screen indicates "Account Plans."

Click the Search button.

A popup window will show you all the plans that have been attached to a patient.

To ensure every plan that has been attached to a patient in the account will show in the popup window, do not delete the plan from the patient. If a plan is deleted, it will not show in the list. It is not advised to delete a plan from the patient insurance history.
