Denticon is compatible with Topaz brand signature tablets. Our recommended model is the TS-461-HSB Type. Other models in this line such as the 460 and 462 are also compatible.
To integrate a Topaz signature pad, Denticon utilities the Sigweb API. This can be downloaded and installed from Denticon's Help Menu>Downloads and Links> Topaz Systems Inc -Signature Pad section
Step Guide
1. Click on Topaz Sigweb 1.6.4 (actual version may be more recent) to download the latest Sigweb installer provided by Denticon.
2. Once downloaded to your computer, run the sigweb.exe file from your browsers downloads panel or from the downloads folder
3. In the installer, input the exact model of your signature pad. If you do not know the exact model, it should be listed on a sticker on the bottom of the signature pad in the format displayed within the installation window.
4. On the next page, it is recommended to leave this box unchecked and select next.
5. Select Next to confirm the installation location. (It is recommended not to change this unless necessary)
6. Select Install to process the installation
7. Once the installation has completed, select Finish to close out of the Sigweb installer
8. The next step is to test it. The easiest way to test it is to pull up a test patient in Denticon and access the Medical History, and select the Signature Tab. The Sign button should be Blue in color and selectable.
