This article describes the Morning Huddle dashboard in Denticon Practice Analytics (DPA), including what metrics it displays and how to access detailed drill-through reports.
What the Morning Huddle Dashboard Shows

- MTD Production vs. Goal
- Collection % of Production MTD

- SRP (Scaling & Root Planing) Opportunities
Tip: Morning Huddle Version 2 is the recommended version.
SRP Opportunities
The SRP Opportunities tile identifies patients on today's schedule who may be candidates for Scaling and Root Planing, representing potential additional production.
- Specifically, it flags patients scheduled for a D4910 (Periodontal Maintenance) who have not received procedure codes D4341, D4342, D1120, D1110, or D4355 in the last 24 months.
How to Access Drill-Through Detail Reports
Drill-through reports let you view patient-level detail behind any summary metric.
- Right-click (do not left-click) directly on the specific metric value you want to investigate.
- Select Drillthrough from the context menu.
- A detailed view for that metric will open.
Common Drill-Through Examples
- Patient Exams donut chart: Right-click the number inside the donut chart (not the chart itself), then select Drillthrough.
- Outstanding A/R: Right-click the A/R value directly.
- SRP Opportunities: Right-click the SRP Opportunities number.
- Pending Tx $: Right-click the Pending Tx $ value.
Reappointment % in Morning Huddle
Morning Huddle Version 2 (updated September 15, 2023) uses a refined reappointment calculation: patients whose only future appointments are marked as Missed or Cancelled are counted as not reappointed. Version 1 only excluded patients with no future appointments at all. Use the Patient Visit Analysis dashboard for a comprehensive longitudinal view of reappointment trends.
