Summary: Denticon provides several appointment-related reports to help offices review canceled, missed, and follow-up-needed appointments. Each report serves a different purpose and applies specific logic when determining which patients appear on the report.
Below is an overview of the available Appointment List report formats and how each one works.

Use the Report Format To Print field to select the desired report type and set your preferred date range.
Canceled List- Report Format To Print: Canceled List
- Provides a historical view of patients who have canceled appointments
- Useful for reviewing cancellation trends or past schedule changes
- Does not consider whether the patient has since scheduled a replacement appointment
- Even if a new appointment exists, the patient will still appear on this report
Missed Appointment List- Report Format To Print: Missed Appointment List
- Provides a historical view of patients whose appointments were marked as Missed
- Helpful for tracking no-shows over time
- Does not consider whether the patient has scheduled a replacement appointment
- The patient will appear on the report even if another appointment was later created
Call List-Report Format To Print: Call List
- Identifies patients who have missed or canceled appointments
- Designed to support follow-up and recall efforts
- Considers whether a replacement appointment has been made
- If a replacement appointment exists, the patient will not appear on the report when using the default report parameters (aside from the selected date range)
This report is ideal for identifying patients who still need to be contacted to reschedule
Choosing the Right Report
- Use Canceled List or Missed Appointment List for historical tracking and reporting
- Use Call List for actionable follow-up on patients who still need to reschedule
Each report supports different operational needs, so selecting the correct format ensures you’re working with the most relevant data.
