Capture and View Layouts Look Strange

Why do my Layouts Look Strange?

This can happen due to corrupted configurations. The configurations can become corrupt when a sudden loss of power or an unexpected crash occurs at the station.

What it Looks Like

Layouts when Capturing or Viewing appear to be in rows rather than anatomical and become harder to read.

How do I Fix This?

  1. Open XVCapture/Dentiray Capture
  2. Select Advanced User Tools on the bottom left of the window
  3. Select Preferences
  4. Input "AKRON" without quotations
  5. Look for and select Interface on the left hand side of the window
  6. Scroll down to the subsection: Multiple Image Display Options
  7. Ensure that Multiple Image Display is set to: Display images grouped anatomically
  8. Now scroll down to: Viewing and Capturing Images Options
  9. Ensure that Display Images As is set to: View Images Grouped Anatomically
  10. Hit OK/SAVE and yes to all prompts until you are back to the main menu
  11. Images in Capture and View should now be in anatomical layout.
