The “Send SMS/Email” button within Denticon Practice Analytics lets you take action directly from your reports by launching targeted patient communications. To use this feature, your practice must have both:

Denticon Practice Analytics Dashboard Bundle, and
-
Automated Campaigns (Denticon Patient Communications) enabled.

How to Use the “Send SMS/Email” Button:

Log into Denticon and launch Denticon Practice Analytics
Go to Utilities > Launch > Denticon Practice Analytics. -
Select a dashboard and Details Report
(e.g., Treatment Plan Analysis), then open a Detail Report by clicking the right arrow.
(e.g., Accepted/Unscheduled Details Report). -
Click “Send SMS/Email”
You’ll see this button in the top right corner of the report (only on supported reports). -
Choose patients
A list of patients will appear. Check or uncheck patients to include/exclude, then click Continue. -
Configure the campaign

Enter a campaign name

Select a delivery date (the earliest available is the next day)

Choose message type (SMS or Email)

Review the selected patients

Select a template
-
Click Set Campaign to finalize
💡 Templates can be created or edited in the Automated Campaigns module:
Utilities > Launch > Automated Campaigns -

Manage your campaign
To view or edit the campaign after creation:-
Go to Utilities > Launch > Automated Campaigns

Navigate to the Patient Care Follow-Up Campaigns section

Look for campaigns with the “DPA_Campaign” prefix

From there, you can edit the campaign as needed

- Treatment Plan Analysis: Unscheduled Patients with Accepted Treatment Plans
- Treatment Plan Analysis: Unscheduled Patients with Unaccepted Treatment Plans
- Patient Visit Analysis: Active, Inactive, Danger Zone Patients
- Front Office: Unconfirmed Appointments
- Front Office: No Show Appointments
- As of October 2025, this functionality is available in the below details reports:
