Capture Stations are computer workstations that take/acquire intraoral images, x-rays, and panoramic x-rays from camera, sensor and pano equipment. Data corrections (instances where Denticon and Dentiray Capture databases are not in alignment) will need to be made from a Capture Station. These stations are configured to bridge to Dentiray Capture via Denticon using the Tooth icon in the main toolbar.
Viewing Stations are computer workstations that are not involved in the acquiring process of images, but still need to be able to access images (e.g. front desk, billing, insurance). With Dentiray Web, you can view images from any computer with access to your Denticon account. You can access Dentiray Web from within Denticon by clicking on the third-party button link just beside the bridge.
