The Denticon team performs a utility at the beginning of each calendar year which affects patients with insurance plans attached to their record. The utility affects only the patients who are on plans that roll-over new insurance benefits, effective January 1 of each year.

The term "SupportYear" seen in the upper right of the patient’s insurance screen indicates the action accomplished by Denticon’s team.

NOTE: No modifications are made to the insurance plan setup during the action.

NOTE: The automatic function is done by Denticon’s team only on January 1. For insurance plans with an anniversary date of February through December, the dental organization will need to update the insurance benefits each month within the “Setup / Close Out” screen.
